Red Carpet Green Dress
Samata Angel is the Global Campaign Director for Red Carpet Green Dress. Red Carpet Green Dress is an international dress design contest started by Suzy Amis Cameron, environmental advocate and wife of Director James Cameron. The challenge is to create an Oscar® worthy dress made entirely of sustainable materials. The winner, chosen among hundreds of international participants, will get his or her “green” design worn on the red carpet at the 84th Academy Awards® celebration. Samata won the competition in February 2011.
Fashion Designer’s Resource Book
Following on from the success of her book series Samata Angel is currently working on a fashion designer’s business and lifestyle book which will be published through Bloomsbury Publishing in 2012.
