Dear All,
I loved reading this! It turns out that UK VOGUE’s best selling issue ever was the millenium one which didn’t actually have anyone on it, but acted like a mirror so you could see your own reflection! That’s right folks, it featured you and I, according to Alexandra Shulman, editor of UK Vogue.

Whilst revealing that Adele’s cover was the worst selling cover, Shulman also revealed that her dream cover feature would be Catherine, Duchess of Cambidge (who actually shares two names with me, Elizabeth and Catherine, and who funnily enough is now the Duchess of Cambridge , my birthplace)…I think God is bringing me closer to meeting this woman and fulfilling my wish list of 2011! All in good time…
Certain stars are known to deliver top sales whenever they grace magazine covers. Take Sarah Jessica Parker last year over in the USA who covered Elle back in January, Vogue in August and Marie Claire in September and delivered the second or third best sellers Read more…

I was way too tardy by not making this look a Visual Moves or Style File post, would love your thoughts on it. I love gold so much!

Dear All,
Firstly…happy Friday! This has been a pretty sweet week and I am glad it is rolling into the weekend. My Friday started really well with an organic facial and an hour walk, and then my lovely fiance sent me the link to news that Vogue is promising to ban underage or ill models. Editors of all 19 editions of the magazine worldwide jointly pledge not to use models younger than 16 or those they believe have an eating disorder.
All I can say is it is about time! Since working on the Talent Magazine in 2006/2007 I have felt quite strongly about the topic of underage models in the industry. I worked with a 14 year old girl on the cover who had been selected by our editor, and even though we looked after her with velvet gloves and she was accompanied by her parents I remember thinking, even back then, that not all young models are afforded this level of consideration and privacy. This girl was young and I dressed her like a 14 year old girl may dress but that is not always the way young models are dressed. Let’s be honest people, this industry is not children and I believe that you need to be over a certain age to take on all that the industry comes with…it does not go gently with your self-esteem, ego or inner-confidence. The number of castings I have sat in and literally cringed as the models were being critiqued in front of me…some were as young as 15 and left close to tears. Read more…
March and April have been fantastic follow on months from Red Carpet Green Dress 2012, full of exciting events and projects for the future. Here is the latest….
Titanic 3D Premiere
I attended the historic Titanic 3D Premiere in London alongside James and Suzy Amis Cameron. The iconic screening was important not least because we were remembering the 100th year of the Titanic ship sinking, but also we were celebrating the fact that James Cameron had just surfaced from completing the dive to the oceans deepest point.

Oscar-winner Kate Winslet and director James Cameron were in London for the red carpet premiere of a new, 3D version of Titanic. Winslet shot to worldwide fame after starring in the original 1997 film alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Director James Cameron said the new version of Titanic would allow fans to “revisit” the box-office blockbuster. ”The big thrill of it isn’t just the 3D,” he said, “it’s bringing it back to the big screen, where it has a lot more emotional impact.” Read more…
Dear All,
Last night I attended the fabulous launch of Christian Louboutim’s Design Museum exhibition. As many of you know Christian has supported myself and Red Carpet Green Dress immensely, with both myself and Missi Pyle wearing Christian Louboutin shoes to the 84th Academy Awards in February! In addition I have met the man himself several times and he is a true gentleman. Last night’s launch saw admirers, celebrities and press all coming together to have the first ever view of this fantastic exhibition with an after party continuing on at The IVY members club.
Also in attendance alongside the legendary Christian Louboutin were Dita Von Teese, Sophie Dahl, Daphne Guinness, Jonathan Saunders and Henry Holland. It was a fantastic evening not least because but we also got to hear him talk about his love for shoe design and fashion, alongside his interest in Burlesque dancers from a young age, but we also saw some personal and never seen before photos of the young Christian on display and guess what? He was quite the hot stepper!

It was a truly memorable evening which was topped off with a soiree at The IVY where Henry Holland played the tunes. Evenings like this remind me why I love London! We were all well and truly taken on a magical journey of style, glamour, power, femininity and elegance. You can see how the glamour and sparkle that muses like Dita Von Teese exude, comes through into his shoe design. What a talented man!

Is this the perfect Monday morning? Reading one of my favourite books in the park and opening an invite (just in time) for Christian Louboutin exhibition and party this evening.

This is one of my favourite books to read at any time of the year, here are some of my favourite quotes from it:
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”
“The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see them.”
Good way not to think about the 80,000 words I have to read this week for my new book!

Hi All
I was papped in LA Confidential magazine! It’s the March issue which features Jessica Alba on the cover. Check out the scan of it here!
This particular photo was taken at the Stepping Up in the City event in association with ELLE and LA Confidential. I attended the event with Daniella Peters. The network connects professional women and underserved teen girls, bringing both sides together. Oh, and men who get it are welcome too!
