To make a stand in the fashion industry, I believe that you need to stand out, but in the pursuit of standing out and make a name for themselves, so many people may start to lose sense of who they are or what actually makes them unique. There is no set norm for what kind of person stands out in the industry, it is full of some eccentric characters, some forcing eccentricity and others just naturally being that way. I have always believed that the second you stop being yourself, people just know, and even if they don’t, you do. Henry Holland is a lovely person who I have met a few times and who once said ”My greatest regret … I don’t have any. People should just learn from their mistakes.” I love his attitude and ability to just be himself.
